Playbook AI, Inc. has built the Playbook AI web application for Commercial purposes. This SERVICE is provided by Playbook AI, Inc. and is intended for use as is. By accessing our application, we assume that you have agreed to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy in its totality.

We collect information about you and your usage of Playbook AI.
We will require access to your Google account(s) so that we can link your Google account(s) with Playbook AI in order to deliver the best experience from certain features of the application.
We collect data (explained below) to make our application more useful to you.
You can contact us for updating or removing any data that we have collected and stored on your behalf.

How We Collect and Use Data

When you access the application, we may collect Data. The two types of data we collect and use are - Personal and Application.

Personal Data is when you send us information or there is a communication. "Personal Data" means data that allows someone to identify you, including but not limited to your name, phone number, profile image, physical address, domain name, Internet Protocol (IP) address and email address for the purpose of recording the operations. In contrast, "Application Data" refers to data about how you have used the application. Application data is primarily used to report analytics, measures to improve the application and track the performance of various marketing initiatives.

We may use Data collected from you for the following purposes:

General Purposes:

to govern your use of the application
to provide you with information about how you are using the given channels (email/SMS/phone (through Twilio)/LinkedIn/Twitter) in the form of analytics and actual communication histories pertaining to it
to recommend follow-up reminders, prescribe tasks
to customize, analyze, adjust and improve the application to align with your needs’
for product and market analysis regarding the usage of the application
to provide or offer application updates and product announcements. If the user or its customers no longer wish to receive communications from us they have the option to "unsubscribe" the services at any point of time

Specific Purposes:

Playbook AI provides integrations with a number of Google products and services using the Google APIs. Playbook AI cannot access your data in these services unless the user explicitly authorize access. However, if authorization is granted, Playbook AI uses the information in the following ways:

Gmail (Email information -Read only) : Playbook AI uses your email id to create your account on the application and send you critical information related to account creation, billing, upgradation, downgradation. We take your privacy as strictly as you do and hence we shall never share your information with a third party.
Gmail (Userprofile - Read only): Playbook AI, Inc. uses this permission to get personal information such as the profile picture, your full name and user id to create a Customer Profile on the Playbook AI application.
Gmail (Openid - Read only): Playbook AI, Inc uses this permission to authenticate connection with your Gmail account and the Playbook AI application.
Gmail (Send): Along with the suggestions, which customer to contact and when, Playbook AI provides an email composer in the application using which the users can type an email, which is sent to their customers right from the app on their behalf.
Gmail (Read Only): Playbook AI reads your emails to check which emails are from your customers and show you their responses in the conversation history with the said customer as well as queue it up as a task in the Playbook AI application.
Google Calendar (Read/Write): Playbook AI, Inc. uses this permission to schedule appointments in the Playbook AI application as well as detect the availability of the Sales Reps/Account Executives etc.

Google Account Authentication

Accounts are added to the application using OAuth authentication. OAuth is a secure mechanism for access delegation, commonly used as a way for Internet users to grant websites (in our case Google account) or applications access to their information on other websites but without giving them the passwords. The token generated is valid during your use of the Application. If, however, you remove your account, you will be required to re-authorize the Application for each Google Account using OAuth.

The Application will require access to your Google account(s) and user data for the following purposes:

verifying your email address and creating your account on our servers in order to link your Google Account with the application
To access and read your Google Account profile information (name, profile picture) for application usage
To access your Google Account in order to send email messages from your account through the application
To access and read your Google Calendar and calendar entries

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent from a website and is stored on the user's computer by the user's web browser while browsing. Cookies were designed to be a reliable mechanism for websites to remember information about your visits. Playbook AI uses cookies and navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (URL) and referring URLs to gather information regarding your user sessions only.

Sharing of Personal Data

We will never sell, trade, or rent any types of Data to any third-party. However, only in the following cases, we may disclose your Personal Data:

Service Providers and Business Partners

We may use trusted Service Providers and Business Partners (e.g. data hosting service providers) to help us in improving our application. These agencies will abide by the obligations similar to those in this Privacy Policy working with your information.

Third-Party Applications

As stated earlier, Playbook AI never shares your information with a third-party application. If you submit any personal information to any of the websites whose website links are present on our website, we assume no responsibility for their content or privacy policies. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review their Privacy Policy prior.

Moreover, with your permission, we may share your information with a third-party when and if required (e.g. for accessing our services through such an application).

Security of Data

Playbook AI uses a variety of industry-standard security technologies and practices to help protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the unlikely event of a data breach where your Personal Data has been compromised, Playbook AI will immediately notify you and the concerned authorities.

If you are located in the EU/EEA and if Playbook AI is required to transfer your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we ensure that the transfer of your Personal Data outside of the EU/EEA will be protected under industry standard contractual clauses.

Data Retention

Playbook AI will retain personal data we manage on behalf of our Clients and their customers as long as needed to provide services to our Client. The information is retained as long as their account is active. However, we may preserve and use your information as necessary to protect our rights, resolve disputes or if it is not technically achievable to remove it (e.g. communication histories at your customer’s end).

Children

Playbook AI Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 and we never knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take immediate steps to delete such information from our records.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion to update and change this Privacy Policy from time to time. However, we will update you with notice through email or some other means prior to the change becoming effective. By accessing the application after changes have become effective, we assume that you have agreed upon the revised terms and conditions of the new Privacy Policy.
